Since 2007, Tony Jaramillo (President) of Playground Safety Solutions LLC (based in Brighton, Colorado) has built a reputation as a trusted playground safety auditing and inspection firm, serving municipal parks, schools, pre-schools and recreation departments. Over our journey we have helped our clients identify, document and remediate playground hazards.

From safety compliance assessments and inspections to repairs and project consulting, we're here to ensure safe play areas for Colorado's municipal parks, schools, and HOA's.
3rd Party Compliance Assessment
An independent unbiased evaluation of the playground structure, surfacing, and site conditions to verify compliance with current safety standards and guidelines.
The assessment includes a comprehensive inspection conducted by a CPSI who reviews all equipment, materials, installation, hardware, surface materials, and use zones to ensure compliance with ASTM F1487 and CPSC 325 Public Safety Guidelines.
CPSI Renewal Training
In-person trainings offered will allow current CPSI’s to successfully obtain the required 2.0 CEUs in playground safety during the 3-year certification cycle and submit the completed CEU Recertification Application to re-certify their CPSI certification.
There are no current scheduled CPSI Renewal Trainings.

Repairs
Repair work in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
Project Management
Oversight of all phases of a play area construction project from initial planning to final completion, while maintaining strong communication and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Surface Impact (Drop) Testing
Performed to evaluate the impact absorbing performance of playground safety surfacing and verify compliance with ASTM F1292 impact attenuation standards.
Using a tri-axial accelerometer head form, a series of controlled drop tests are conducted from specified heights to measure G-max and Head Injury Criterion (HIC) values. These measurements determine whether the surfacing provides adequate protection against head injuries in the event of a fall.
Routine Maintenance
Ongoing scheduled monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly services to ensure that play equipment and environments remain in safe and functional condition.
Installation
Installation of picnic shelters, outdoor site furnishings, basketball courts, and volleyball courts.
Consulting
Assist with design ideas for parks, playgrounds, and outdoor recreational amenities.
